Similar terms can describe different tools. Start with who needs to perform which task, rather than a product name.

Start with the actor
Does a specific individual sign a document, or does an organisation need to establish its origin? Running a company alone does not determine which tool is required.
Identify where it will be used
Signing a file and authenticating in a system are different tasks, even if both involve a certificate. The solution must fit the intended system and workflow.
Separate tools from permissions
Acting for an organisation requires the right authority. Buying a tool does not grant that authority or replace checking representation rules.
Keep KSeF in its own context
A KSeF certificate belongs to the KSeF system. Do not select it as a universal signature for contracts. Explain the intended task without sending invoices, contracts or login details.
